Original work painted on grey-brown cardboard from my "Ultramarine" series, painted with the beautiful ultramarine blue colour.
Framed in solid oak and ART glass with minimal reflection - in fact, you might even wonder if there's glass on it.
The brushstrokes are clearly visible in several places in the work (see pictures). The hand-painted look gives the piece a vibrant expression that I truly love.
The painting is crafted with meticulous hand, and although it has a more stringent and graphic expression than my abstract works, you will still notice the imperfections and the hand-painted quality when you get up close. For me, it is the quirky and imperfect that makes my works special. That nothing is neat, symmetrical. Or boring. But quirky and full of character.
All in all, a characterful picture that will brighten up and add its own unique touch to a room. Feel free to hang it somewhere where the sun hits during the day, and you will experience how the blue colour lights up even more.
