Original artwork painted on handmade paper with texture and slightly "ruffled" edges. The artwork is from my series "Ultramarine," painted with the beautiful ultramarine blue color, which lights up so beautifully in good company – especially with the sun.
The artwork is set against a delicate light blue background and framed in solid oak and ART glass with minimal reflection – in fact, you might wonder if there is glass on it.
The painting is meticulously crafted, and although it has a more stringent and graphic expression than my abstract works, you will still notice the imperfections and hand-painted details when you look closely. For me, it is the crooked and imperfect that makes my works special. That nothing is neat, symmetrical. Or boring. But crooked and full of character.
All in all, a characterful painting that will brighten up and leave its own unique mark in a room. Feel free to hang it somewhere where the sun hits during the day, and you will experience how the blue color lights up even more.
