A calm yet powerful painting from my series of works that I call "Soft".

This work is a little different in its composition than the other paintings in the "Soft" series. There's a bit more happening on the canvas, but the overall expression is still soft and calm.

The work is painted with acrylic and other mixed media on stretched, primed canvas of cotton and polyester. Then set in a beautiful solid oak floating frame, which gracefully encloses the simplicity of the work.

The painting is dominated by blue, green, and golden hues, which together create a truly beautiful expression. You will experience how the colors change character depending on how the light falls.

Both my painting process and the finished expression in this work represent my desire for more calm and softness in my everyday life, in my art, and in my life in general. And I hope you can feel that when you explore the transparent surfaces and layers that give this painting its character.

The transparent layers in the painting have given me a calmer painting process compared to what I'm used to. Especially because the media's movement on the canvas and the necessary drying breaks to achieve the expression I want, demand a lot of my patience - and that I remain calmer and more passive in the process than I usually do in many of my other works.

The work is fixed with an invisible and matte spray, which protects it from sunlight and dust.

If you live outside Denmark, original artworks on canvas are sent rolled in a tube. That means you'll need to take it to your local framer to have it stretched on stretcher bars. Please also note that international purchases are sent without the floating frame.
