The work is part of the continuation of my series of "Soft" paintings, which I have chosen to work further with. All the Soft works encapsulate my longing for more calm and softness – both in my painting process and in life.

In my work with the Soft pieces this time, I have worked hard to accept my impatience in the creative process, which I have otherwise tried to fight against for many years. Because it turns out that when I first accept the impatience and the strokes and expressions it helps create in my works, I can actually ALSO create the calm in my art - and in myself - that I need. A calm that has now settled like a duvet in many of my works.

Shipping outside Denmark:
If you live outside Denmark, original works on canvas are shipped rolled in a tube. This means you will need to have it stretched on a stretcher frame by your local framer. Please also note that originals purchased for international shipping DO NOT include a floating frame.
