My Soft works are calm in expression but at the same time possess a special strength and a powerful narrative that will add character to any home. And especially in this work, where both brushstrokes and choice of colors give character and strength to the painting – and certainly also to the room where it will hang.

Painted in beautiful blue and blue-green shades, spiced with tones of rose, light golden brown, and burgundy.

The work is part of the continuation of my "Soft" series of paintings, which I have chosen to develop further. All Soft works encapsulate my longing for more tranquility and softness – both in my painting process and in life.

In my current work with the Soft pieces, I have worked hard to accept my impatience in the creative process, which I have otherwise tried to fight against for many years. Because it turns out that when I first accept the impatience and the strokes and expressions it helps to create in my works, I can actually ALSO create the tranquility in my art – and in myself – that I need. A tranquility that has now settled like a duvet over many of my works.

Shipping outside Denmark 
If you live outside Denmark, original works on canvas are shipped rolled in a tube. This means that you will need to have it stretched onto a stretcher frame by your local framer. Please also note that originals purchased for international shipping do NOT include a floating frame.
