A very beautiful work from my "Ultramarine" series, where hand-painted and uneven fields stand side by side - only interrupted by a round circle in the corner and the blue "gaps", where the beautiful blue background is allowed to shine.

This work is a little different from my other blue works because the white fields are hand-painted with thick acrylic paint.

The thick paint has a very special texture and weight, which lies beautifully on top of the luminous blue background. And if you let a sunbeam fall on the work, you will experience how the ultramarine blue color lights up even more.

Painted on handmade textured paper.

Professionally framed in solid oak with an internal spacer, which makes the artwork appear to float behind the glass. Thus, the painting touches neither the glass nor the back panel, which gives a very elegant expression.

Art glass has been used, which provides minimal reflection and actually also makes us doubt whether there is even glass on it.

Each field is hand-painted with meticulous care. However, nothing in this work is perfectly straight or symmetrical. For me, it's the imperfection that makes it special. That nothing is neat, symmetrical. Or boring.
