This piece is a bit of an outsider in my series of ultramarine-blue works because, beneath the blue color, it is enriched with many other beautiful colors. Beneath the deep blue surface, a vibrant life of colors and details is hidden, beautifully "framed" by the ultramarine blue acrylic paint.

The painting is done on heavy watercolor paper and then set in a solid smoked oak frame. ART glass has been used, which provides minimal reflection and can even make the viewer doubt whether there is glass at all. Therefore, the artwork stands out incredibly sharply.

Hang the piece in a beautiful sunbeam or simply near a window so the colors can truly come to life.

The piece is signed beneath the round shape at the bottom of the image.

The painting is done with a meticulous hand, and although it has a more stringent and graphic expression than my abstract works, you will still glimpse the imperfections and the hand-painted quality when you look closely. For me, it is the quirky and the imperfect that makes my works special. That nothing is neat, symmetrical. Or boring. But quirky and full of character.
