An elegant and calm painting from my series of works that I call "Soft".

The work is painted with acrylic and other mixed media on stretched, primed cotton and polyester canvas. It is then placed in a beautiful solid oak float frame, which finely frames the simplicity of the work.

It is dominated by blue and golden hues, which in combination also conjure up a greenish color that is quite special. You will experience how the colors change character depending on how the light falls.

Both my painting process and the finished expression in this work represent my desire for more calm and softness in my everyday life, in my art, and in my life in general. And I hope that you can feel this when you explore the transparent surfaces and layers that give this painting character.

The transparent layers in the painting have given me a calmer painting process compared to what I am used to. Especially because the movement of the painting media on the canvas and the necessary drying breaks to achieve the expression I want require a lot of my patience - and that I remain calmer and more passive in the process than I usually do in many of my other works.

The work is fixed with an invisible and matte spray, which protects it from sunlight and dust.

If you live outside Denmark, original artworks on canvas are sent rolled in a tube. That means you'll need to take it to your local framer to have it stretched on stretcher bars. Please also note that international purchases are sent without the floating frame.
