Do you know someone who practices slowness? Perhaps it's yourself?

I hope this lovely little picture finds a home with someone who needs to be reminded that everything can afford to go a little slower. Both the dishes and everyday life - but also life in general. I practice it myself every single day - but I don't master the discipline of "slow" very well...yet. That's why I made this picture. As a loving reminder to you and me that we are not in a hurry.

The artwork is very powerful in its simplicity. And the beautiful ultramarine blue color stands out beautifully on the brown handmade thin paper. The paper is made on a silk screen frame made of wood with a piece of cotton stretched over the wood, which acts as a sieve. The paper dries on the sieve itself in the sun.

The paper is mounted on a hand-painted ultramarine-blue background and then framed in solid oak and art glass. Art glass provides minimal reflection, and one might even doubt if there is any glass at all.
