A very fine and elegant work in a square format.

The beautiful ultramarine blue color stands out beautifully on the brown handmade thin paper. A very special type of paper, made on a silk screen frame made of wood with a piece of cotton stretched over the wood, which acts as a sieve. The paper dries on the sieve in the sun.

The work is mounted on a beautiful burgundy background. And as you may be able to see in the pictures, the work floats behind the glass thanks to an internal spacer in oak veneer, which lifts the glass away from the work. At the same time, the work is lifted from the background with a foam board, which helps to create the floating effect.

Professionally framed in oak, with an oak veneer spacer and art glass, which provides minimal reflection.

The work is hand-painted with a delicate hand. However, nothing in this work is perfectly straight or symmetrical. For me, it's the asymmetry that makes it special. That nothing is neat, symmetrical. Or boring.
