I have created a series of small mini-artworks for my series of works that I call "Soft" - or "Blød" in Danish.

The artworks in these small mini-paintings are dominated by blue, green, blue-green, and brown shades, which together create a truly beautiful harmony.

The artwork is painted with acrylic and other mixed media on stretched, primed cotton and polyester canvas.

The artwork is fixed with an invisible and matte spray, which protects it from sunlight and dust.

About the series:

Both my painting process and the finished expression in this work represent my desire for more calm and softness in my everyday life, in my art, and in my life in general. And I hope you can feel that when you explore the transparent surfaces and layers that give this painting its character.

The transparent layers in the painting have given me a calmer painting process compared to what I am used to. Especially because the paint media's movement on the canvas and the necessary drying breaks to achieve the expression I want require a lot of my patience - and that I remain calmer and more passive in the process than I otherwise do in many of my other works.

If you live outside Denmark, original artworks on canvas are sent rolled in a tube. That means you'll need to take it to your local framer to have it stretched on stretcher bars. Please also note that international purchases are sent without the floating frame.
