This piece is from my monochrome series of works. Monochrome because only a single color has been used - namely the deep blue.

\nThe blue color appears on the canvas in many different shades, from the very dark blue to the very light and transparent blue.

\nThe monochrome works make me think of the nuances of life. That things are not just black and white, that life is not either-or, but that there are always nuances in all corners, facets, and ups and downs of life. Nuances that need to be noticed and explored to get the whole picture. Maybe you can relate?
