This is because a spacer strip has been inserted internally (see image) and a foam board behind the artwork. This creates an elegant and very ethereal expression, complemented by the \"deckled\" edges of the paper.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eThe artwork is painted with meticulous hand, and although it has a more stringent and graphic expression than my abstract works, you will still notice the imperfections and the hand-painted quality when you get up close. For me, it is the unevenness and the imperfect that make my works special. That nothing is neat, symmetrical. Or boring.
